Performing Arts

Vocal music, band, and drama are vital to the well-rounded education offered at Denver Lutheran High School. DLHS stresses excellence in these performance areas and encourages students to be a part of these activities.

The following performance opportunities are offered at DLHS:

DLHS Theater Group – This amazingly talented group performs one-act plays in the early fall, a late fall musical, and a spring play.

Cross-Play – This diverse performance group presents devotional skits for chapels at DLHS and elementary schools.

Concert Choir – This choir is open to all students as a class at DLHS and they take part in a choir tour every other year.

Light Brigade – Light Brigade is the premier choral performance group at Denver Lutheran High School. Participation is through audition. Their repertoire ranges from sacred worship music
to vocal jazz.

Concert Band – Band is open to all students as a class at DLHS. They also go on a band tour every other school year.
