We have been contacted by Alum, Katy (Hodel) Berg ’81. Her son, Karl, has won a regional art contest sponsored by the search engine, GOOGLE. Karl will now be in a national competition with 40 other 4th thru 6th grade students. The winner of this national competition will receive a monetary award of $25,000 which will be given to the winner’s designated school.
Karl is home-schooled and will be attending Denver Lutheran High School in a couple of years and is designating this award, if won, to Denver Lutheran High School for technology improvements and enhancements.
Each competitor is encouraged to contact as many friends and relatives to vote for the student’s entry. We are encouraging all of you to vote for Karl’s entry.
PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT AND GO TO: http://www.google.com/doodle4google and vote for Karl Berg’s entry in the 4th thru 6th grade entries. If his entry gets the most votes, Denver Lutheran will receive $25,000 for its technology program. Thanks for doing this when you get a chance.
